Own a condo back home? Tell us about it.
We're building Maple & Mango, starting in Nuvali, for owners who live abroad and want a simpler way to look after their Philippine property. We're speaking with prospective pilot owners while the Philippine operating and licensing structure is being completed.
What we're building
Guest-ready planning
A practical review of what a unit may need before it can host guests.
Guest demand
We plan to reach Filipino travellers in Canada first, supplemented by longer local stays where appropriate.
Local coordination
Planned coordination of cleaning, access, building requirements and maintenance through authorized Philippine partners.
Reporting
Clear records of stays, property costs and owner proceeds.
Your own dates
Owners remain able to block personal-use periods.
One point of contact
Canada-side coordination, supported by Philippine partners once the operating structure is in place.
Terms come after the structure.
Final services, responsibilities and fees will be set out only after our Philippine legal and licensing structure is confirmed.
Nuvali first.
We're starting with condos in Nuvali, Santa Rosa and Calamba. Own somewhere else? Tell us anyway. Where owners cluster helps us decide where to look next.
How the owner pilot is being designed
Tell us about your unit
Your building, unit type and what you'd like from it.
A conversation
We talk through your goals, your own-use dates and what your building allows.

We tell you plainly whether your unit fits the first pilot group, and why.
Terms in writing
Once the Philippine structure is in place, any arrangement is set out in writing before anything starts.
Owner pilot enquiry
Takes about 3 minutes. Matt and Anne read every one. No obligation.

Run from Alberta. Rooted in the Philippines.
We're Matt and Anne, in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Maple & Mango started with one condo in Nuvali that belongs to Anne's family. It sat empty most of the year. We're turning it into the place we'd want for our own family on a trip home: clean, private, and useful as a home base for family visits in South Luzon, run by people you can reach from Canada.
Next, we want to do the same for other families who own a place back home and can't look after it from here.
What we promise

Canada-based support
Matt and Anne answer from Alberta. A named local contact will be in place before the first stay.
As described, or we make it right
If something isn't as described when you arrive, tell us within 24 hours. We fix it fast, or refund the nights affected.
Before you book
Do I pay in Canadian dollars?
Yes. Quotes, deposits and balances are in CA$. We plan to take Interac e-Transfer and cards. Building fees you pay on the spot, like the pool fee, are in pesos.
How far is the Nuvali Studio from the airport?
About 60 to 70 minutes from NAIA when traffic is light, and longer at rush hour. We can book a driver to meet you.
Can my family visit me there?
Yes. The building's guards register visitors at the gate with an ID. Pool use is paid per person at the admin office, at rates the building sets (about ₱150 per person per visit).
Is there hot water?
Yes. The shower has an instant hot-water heater.
What if my flight is delayed?
Message us when you know. We'll rearrange your arrival with your local contact so you can get in whenever you land.
Is parking included?
Yes. The studio comes with its own parking slot, so a rental car or a cousin's car has somewhere to go.
What's the shortest stay?
7 nights. Over the holidays (Dec 15 to Jan 10) it's 10 nights.
Can I book for my parents or relatives?
Yes. You book and pay from Canada; we just need IDs for the people staying.
What if something breaks during my stay?
Message your local contact. We'll arrange the repair and tell you when to expect it.
Is it safe?
It's a gated complex with guards at the entrance who check IDs.
What time is check-in and checkout?
Check-in from 2 p.m., checkout by 11 a.m. Landing early? Ask us; if the unit is free the night before, we'll try to have it ready.
What about brownouts and water interruptions?
They happen in the Philippines. When the building or the utility schedules one, we'll tell you ahead of time. We'll keep a flashlight and drinking water in the unit.
Smoking and pets?
No smoking inside the unit and no pets, to keep it clean for the next family.
How do I reach you?
Matt and Anne answer from Alberta, and a named local contact will be in place before the first stay. Email us at hello@mapleandmango.ca; that inbox and our Viber line open with bookings.
Is the price I see the final price?
The total on the stay page includes the nightly rate, cleaning and the book-direct discount. The only extras are things you choose, like an airport pickup, and building fees you pay on the spot, like the pool. We start the refund of the CA$150 security deposit within 7 days of checkout, less any documented damage.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Pick your dates, send a request with your name and email, and we take it from there by email or message.
Can I stay longer than four weeks?
Yes. For stays over 28 nights the rate stays at CA$50 a night, and for over 60 nights we'll quote a monthly rate. Long stays include a mid-stay clean and fresh linens.
What if something isn't as described when I arrive?
Tell us within 24 hours. We'll fix it fast, and if we can't, we'll refund the nights affected.
What if I need to cancel?
Full refund if you cancel 30 days or more before arrival, 50% at 7 to 29 days, nothing under 7 days. Over the holidays it's 60 and 30 days. Family emergencies: talk to us first.
Tell us who's coming.
We'll review your dates and, once availability and building requirements are confirmed, send the stay agreement and payment link. Nothing is charged until we confirm.
Privacy Notice
Draft for the preview. The final notice will be reviewed before any form goes live.
What we collect. What you type into our forms: your name, email, phone or Viber number, where you live, your travel dates and party, and, for owners, details about your property.
Why. To answer your enquiry, quote and plan a stay, or assess whether your condo fits the owner pilot. For guests who book, the building's admin office requires a photo ID for each adult to register the stay.
Who we are. Maple & Mango is run by Matt and Anne from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Questions about your information go to hello@mapleandmango.ca once that inbox opens with bookings.
Who sees it. Matt and Anne, and, for a booked stay, only the people who need it to run that stay, such as building admin and our local contact. We don't sell your information.
Where it goes. We work from Canada and the stay is in the Philippines, so your information is handled in both countries. We follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA) and the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).
How long we keep it. Guest ID copies are deleted within 30 days after checkout, unless the building or the law requires longer. Other records are kept only as long as we need them for the enquiry or stay, and for tax records as the law requires.
Your choices. You can contact us to request access to or correction of your personal information, or to ask about deletion where applicable.
